A magnificent property next to a national forest. So close to the mountain it gives you the feeling you can reach out and touch it. But at the same time distant enough where one can enjoy nature in all it's glory. What an opportunity for something special!!! These were our thoughts when we first came upon the property. It was a difficult project on a steep lot but worth the effort. We were all excited. When we first visited the site with Rob Paulus, the architect, he became intrigued with the shape of the mountains right in front of the property. He described it as "folded" and the name of the project was instantly created: Casa de Plegado, with a roof shape of folded planes.
